Women Cell -‘SHERO’ My Voice
Women Cell, where young women are inspired to face all challenges of life. The cell follows a strategy that involves the personality development of women in different areas. The women cell aims at empowering and orienting women to recognise their potentiality. Through this cell women get personal guidance and awareness on specific issues. Orientation programmes and workshops will be organised for building confidence in them.
The women cell is constituted to enable the women to pursue their work with dignity. The cell has given importance to Gender Equality. Empowerment is the degree of autonomy and self determination in people and in communities. Empowering builds confidence in them and to execute their goals.
OBJECTIVES
1.To build self esteem and self confidence in the students of Navajyothi college of teacher education,Olarikkara.
2.To celebrate national and international days related to Women’s day,Mothers day etc.
3.To develop a positive image of women in society by recognising their contributions in social, economical and political fields.
4.To make efforts for the gender sensitization programmes.
5.To build in them a sense of self reliance by improving their participation in vocational education.
